Meet Lisa – a single LGBTQ+Q person, who is sharing their fertility journey at the Agora Clinic.
This is a lovely story of one person’s journey to solo parenthood in the midst of a global pandemic. In this beautifully open and honest video, Lisa talks us through some of the highs and lows of their IVF journey.
Despite several setbacks and continuous support from the ‘amazing’ Agora team, Lisa is happily pregnant.
As a single person I dont think I could have got through it; I think I might of cancelled if it wasn’t for the nurses having my back
Like many others in the LGBTQ+Q+ community, Lisa used donor sperm with IVF treatment.
My child will know from very young that this lovely, kind man gave this beautiful gift to us to help me be a parent. I want my child to know where they come from. I think its super, super important to know how loved you are – especially when the norm is to have a mum and a dad
