Reproductive Surgery

Mr Ehab Kelada is the fertility surgery expert at the Agora. He has wide and special expertise in minimal access surgery, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.

These surgical procedures are commonly performed for the investigations and treatment of infertility, hydrosalpinx (blocked & dilated Fallopian tubes), ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, chronic pelvic pain and pain during intercourse.

He has an unequivocal experience in hysteroscopic surgery for submucous fibroids and endometrial polyps. He has been instrumental in introducing the use of Myosure during Hysteroscopic surgery for the removal of uterine polyps and submucous fibroids at BSUH (Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals) NHS Trust. Myosure is a device used to precisely remove polyps and fibroids without the need to use any source of energy such as diathermy. This avoids the risk of damaging of the endometrium which is crucial of infertility patients.
