Most recently, the Agora Clinic won Best LGBTQ+ Patient Experience award at the European Fertility Society’s 2026 Fertility Care Awards, presented during the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) meeting in London.

2026: Best LGBTQ+ Patient Experience award at the European Fertility Society’s
The Agora has been recognised for its early and sustained commitment to making fertility care accessible and comfortable for LGBTQ+ families.
2025: MD of the Year at the Dynamic Awards
The Agora Clinic won MD of the Year at the 2025 Dynamic Awards.
2024: CEO of the Year and Large Business of the Year at the Sussex Business Awards
The Agora Clinic won two awards at the 2024 Sussex Business Awards. Its founder and Medical Director, Dr Carole Gilling-Smith, won CEO of the Year, and the clinic won Large Business of the Year. The clinic was shortlisted for both awards in November 2024.
The CEO of the Year category judge, Liz Beck, praised Carole’s leadership and her investment in her colleagues. For Large Business of the Year, judge David Boosey cited the clinic’s compassion, empathy and professionalism, and its work on inclusivity, workplace wellbeing, sustainability and charity.
2021: Best Patient Care and Support Award from the European Fertility Society
The Agora Clinic received the Best Patient Care and Support Award from the European Fertility Society at the Fertility Care Awards 2021. The award recognised the support the clinic gives patients during fertility treatment, including through the challenges of Covid-19.
2020: Best Fertility Clinic in Sussex from SME News
SME News named the Agora Clinic Best Fertility Clinic in Sussex at the Southern Enterprise Awards 2020. The award recognised the clinic’s commitment to patient care and support throughout the parenting journey, and its response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
December 2019: Best Customer Service Award from Sussex Business
The Agora Clinic won the Sussex Business Best Customer Service Award in December 2019. The award recognised the clinic’s patient care and emotional support.
