We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Quality Manager with experience to join our Agora team.

The appointee would be supporting the Quality Manager for the development and continuous improvement of the QMS in accordance with the conditions of the HFEA licence, EU tissue directive, ISO and CQC.
The Assistant Quality Manager will play a significant role in shaping the delivery and growth of our fertility and QMS across our three clinics in Brighton, Eastbourne and Worthing.

Key responsibilities
- Development monitor and maintenance of the QMS with PR and Department Managers under the guidance of the Quality Manager
- Assist with the development of all documentation necessary for running the QMS
- Assist with the planning internal and external quality audits
- Support to monitor the performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels
- Assure effective corrective and preventive actions for the prevention and elimination of causes of non-conformances are in place and dealt with in a timely fashion. Resolve any issues if deadlines are not met
- Assist with the organisation of a systematic approach for education of all members of staff as regards the QMS
- Assist in developing annual education and mandatory training plans
- Monitor and apply standards created by external bodies and integrate within the QMS under the guidance of the Quality Manager
- Support in the preparation of QMS reports for the quality management meetings and annual management review team meetings
- Support to train and motivate team members to support QMS
- Assist in the document control system and approval of new and revised documentation.
- Support team members to ensure Quality Objectives (QO) and Quality Indicators (QI) are in place and progressed in a timely fashion
- Troubleshoot and monitor PRISM
- Generate and analyse patient feedback reports
- Support the Quality Manager and department managers for all aspects of risk management within the Unit
- Assist in providing orientation programme for all new members of staff and all staff attend mandatory training
- Support the Quality Manager to maintain a safe working environment, recognising the Health and Safety requirements of staff, patients and visitors
- Assist the Quality Manager to ensure complaints are recorded and actioned correctly.
- Support the Quality Manager to identify, report and respond to accidents and incidents effectively and according to the clinic’s policy.
- Support the Quality Manager to plan and lead inspections by regulatory bodies (HFEA, CQC and ISO 9001:2015).
Experience & Qualifications required:
- BSc or MSc in Biomedical Science
- Experience with Quality Management Systems
- Good understanding and experience with HFEA Code of Practice, ISO 9001:2015 and CQC regulations
- IT literate with good knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven organizational ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to delegate responsibilities
