Our Family
Unlike other fertility clinics, the Agora, is independent and family run which is why from the day we opened our doors in 2007, we made it our mission to prioritise personalised, bespoke fertility care and exceptional patient support.
That’s what makes us different to so many fertility clinics in the UK, that have become part of large groups, where IVF is offered on an industrial scale at the expense of a human-centred patient approach.
We are passionate about diversity and recognised as a leading authority on inclusive fertility care. Not only do we look after the male partner in the same holistic way as we do the female partner, but we also support all those from the LGBTQ+Q+ community or ethnic minority groups to find safe and fulfilling routes to parenthood.

Our Spaces
We understand the intricate physical and psychological needs of patients on a fertility journey which is why we have taken great care to create calming, nurturing and inclusive environments in all our clinics where you can feel supported and nurtured during every stage of your journey.
Our flagship clinic, Agora Brighton, boasts a stunning reception area and monitoring suite, bursting with light and filled with different green hues, instilling a sense of calm and serenity.
Our patients get the opportunity to see where all the magic happens in our embryology laboratory through special glass doors.
At Agora Eastbourne, near Polegate, our reception area and clinical spaces have an enviable view over the magnificent South Downs. Our patients can also relax and enjoy the scenery on our patio area whilst waiting for their appointment.

We want to make your fertility journey as easy as possible which is why we offer virtual consultations and at home fertility tests. Our clinics are also strategically placed to minimise the time you need to spend travelling to physical appointments when these are required.
Our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities at Agora Brighton and Agora Eastbourne have the latest embryology and andrology equipment, including time-lapse incubators with AI monitoring of embryo development to ensure the best possible outcome for your treatment.

I was under Mr Chui as my consultant through an NHS referral and after we had selected The Agora as our chosen clinic, we had the pleasure of meeting so many of their lovely staff at the Brighton & Eastbourne hubs.
Walking in for each appointment, we were greeted by Robert who was always friendly, welcoming and polite. Throughout treatment I tried to keep track of as many names as possible but particular credit to our nurses Jo, Carly & Melodie who were exceptional, providing us with a lot of information throughout the process so we always felt very aware of what was happening and what the next steps might look like. I had regular check up phone calls with them, access to 24/7 support should it have been needed through their app and phone line.
I’m a huge needlephobe so they were always very gracious about this too.
When the time came for my egg collection, I was made to feel really comfortable and at ease, and Tom who performed the procedure introduced himself to me too. The rest of the team were mostly faces I recognised, like lovely Lauren who had done some of our blood tests earlier in the treatment plan so this made everything even more comfortable. Our lovely after care team were exceptional, super chatty and friendly including Emma.
We were then kept up to date with the progress of our embryos developing and how many had made it to each stage of the process.
On the day of our embryo transfer, we were again greeted by familiar faces and had everything explained in great detail before it took place.
Our lovely little girl was born back in March and we could not be happier with our experience at The Agora. Their team then followed up with us a few weeks after our birth to formally end our journey.
After our second IVF attempt, we received the wonderful news that we were expecting, and we truly believe that the expertise, dedication, and encouragement of the Agora team played a huge part in making this possible. Every member of staff was patient, compassionate, and always willing to answer our questions throughout the process.
IVF can be a challenging experience both emotionally and physically, but Agora made us feel hopeful and never alone. We cannot thank them enough for helping us achieve our dream of becoming parents.

The clinic itself is modern, clean, and very well organised, which instantly put me at ease. The doctors and nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate—they listened carefully to my concerns and tailored my treatment in a way that felt personal rather than one-size-fits-all.

Throughout both journeys, I felt incredibly well taken care of. Every member of the team was polite, compassionate, and truly understanding of what can be an emotional process. They always made me feel supported and respected.

Our journey to parenthood took over ten years. In 2017, we went through IVF for the first time, which sadly resulted in one miscarriage and one failed cycle. It was a very difficult period, and for a long time we didn’t think this day would ever come.
