Michèle graduated from Southampton University with an Honours degree in Philosophy and is currently studying for her MBA whilst working at the Agora. She had worked in the nursing team as a Nurse Administrator during her gap year and University holidays which left her with no doubt in her mind that this was where she wanted to start her career.
As Operations Manager, she ensures the smooth running of the clinic, working closely with the Laboratory Director and Senior Nursing team and CEO to ensure the patient journey is as seamless as possible. She is also very involved in the day to day patient care which she says helps her find ways to constantly innovate and improve the way Agora fertility care is delivered. During the pandemic, she has led the Agora’s COVID-19 response, ensuring all the necessary safety measures are in place and regularly updated for the safety of all our staff and patients.
She has a real interest in promoting the quality of a patient’s experience as they take their fertility journey with us and developed the Agora Patient Support program which includes a buddy system, our Agora Friends closed facebook page and a virtual patient support group, all of which have proved to be very popular with our patients.
“You are most likely to see me in recovery after your egg collection or at embryo transfer. You may also meet me if you come to one of our support groups. I always knew I wanted to be able to make a difference to people’s lives and working at the Agora has turned out to be the most rewarding job I could imagine. I wish every success for each of our patients and feel so blessed to be doing what I love with such an incredible team. I am passionate about making every patient’s journey at the Agora as supported as possible and love to reach out to anyone who is finding things difficult.”
