Senior Clinical Embryologist
Victoria joined the Agora in 2013. She studied biology for her first degree at the University of Extremadura (Spain) and developed an interested in developmental biology and embryo development. This led her to complete her PhD investigating the neural induction mediated by growth factors in animal embryos in 2004. During this time, she was offered an assistant lecturers post as Professor of Anatomy and Physiology, which she held for four years. She continued to develop her Postdoctoral work doing research at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência in Portugal before completing a Masters Degree in Human Reproduction.
Prior to her employment at the Agora she was working as a clinical embryologist at the Instituto Extremeño de Reproducción Asistida (IERA) in Spain where she became the Quality Lab Manager.
